Tell us about your experience with/connection to Diabetes

 I was born with hereditary pancreatitiis and about 2 months ago it was discovered that my pancreatitis condition has killed off most of the the insulin beta cells in my pancreas so I technically have diabetes due to pancreatic damage which makes me like a type 1.
Quick Bio

 I am 26 years old and have numerous chronic illnesses.  I currently work in community mental health as a child case manager and LOVE what I do although my illnesses cause me to miss work a lot.  I have been married for almost 2 years but we have been together for almost 6 years.  No children yet, but would love to have them someday if my health allows if not we plan to adopt, until then we have our children-like dogs Sugar and Spice.
