CGM Comparisons Please
Don't really know what there is to compare. I think the minimed one is the only option as of today (in the U.S.). I already have a pump and feel like a cyborg with a tube attached to me. I am waiting for FDA approval of an implated cgm. They are already in europe and hopefully around the corner.

But there are others there: Dexcom 5 and 7 and now Abott Navigator (as from March 2008).
Problem is that at this time, only Minimed is sold in Europe.
Where did you hear about implanted CGMs in Europe though?

My son pumps with the Animas pump and we just ordered a Dexcom 7. Animas is contracted with the Dexcom company so that they will work together within the end of the year! That is so exciting! I hate he idea of my son haveing to wear 2 different sites and the monitors. I am hopeful that I will receive the CGS within 2 weeks! I will let you know how it works!
