To control Type 2 Diabetes you need to take advantage of a variety of tools at your disposal.  I call this the T2 Diabetic Arsenal.  Some tools are used to test and monitor your blood glucose levels, some are used to test and monitor your blood pressure, some are used to control your blood glucose levels, triglyceride levels, cholesterol levels, and some are used for overall general health.  This community is dedicated to sharing what tools in our arsenal work for each of us to combat Type 2 diabetes and its potential complications.

Use the information you learn in this community section with a healthy dose of skepticism.  That should be true for all information you hear or read about the management of this disease.  There is currently no cure, no “correct” solution, only opinions and choices.  We are all learning together, you, me, your doctor, and the so-called “experts”.  We can share our specifics with each other but there is no guarantee that what works for one of us will work for all of us.
