I carry my pump in a cell phone case and once, I tried putting it in a cell phone case with a magnetic flip top one. When I took it out, the screen was all fuzzy and milky looking.

That does look great! I only carry a glucometer in a small pouch (plus a pump in my pocket), so a regular handbag has been working well for me, but for those carrying insulin this is amazing!

Susan, I'm not sure how a magnet in the handbag would hurt the pump, since the pump won't go in there? Also, I've never heard about regular magnets being a problem, only extra-strong ones like in an MRI.

Your hand bag looks awsome!! One thing though, and I don't know if a lot of pumpers know this but pumps cannot be around magnets! That could cause problems with your magnetic detachable pouch.
